Spiaggia Santa Teresa di Riva is a roughly 3km beach on Sicily’s Ionian coast, much of it free to access. With its long sweep of shoreline and relaxed atmosphere, it offers a quieter alternative to the busier beaches around Taormina.
The beach has received multiple Blue Flag awards and remains popular with local residents. Its character is straightforward and unpretentious, making it well suited to those who prefer a coastal setting with a more local rhythm.
Santa Teresa di Riva is also a practical base for exploring eastern Sicily. Taormina and Giardini Naxos are within easy reach for day trips, while Mount Etna provides a further excursion inland.
Located in the municipality of Forza d’Agrò, the beach is free and does not require booking.
