Welcome to Club Med Cefalù, the first Exclusive Collection resort in Europe, set atop sea cliffs with sweeping views across Cefalù Bay. Located in Località Santa Lucia, this all-inclusive retreat offers a considered introduction to the Sicilian art de vivre, balancing relaxation, activity and an appreciation of the island’s insular character.
Accommodation ranges from elegant contemporary rooms touched with baroque detail to charming individual Villettas, designed for privacy. The setting lends itself to an unhurried stay, with the sea and surrounding landscape always close at hand.
Days can begin with yoga on the water or a stand-up paddle across the bay, while a rented Vespa offers the chance to explore Cefalù and the seaside towns beyond. Back at the resort, a Sicilian-inspired menu and a glass of champagne provide a suitably relaxed way to watch the sunset.
Art is woven into the experience through a monumental installation conceived by the French duo Pangea, known for collaborations with international fashion houses. Five hand-drawn banners, each measuring 2 by 2.20 metres, interpret fire, earth, water, air and ether in vibrant response to Sicily’s nature.
At once a retreat above the coast and an ode to the island’s landscape, Club Med Cefalù places contemporary design, outdoor pursuits and Sicilian sensibility within easy reach of the historic town.
