Magaggiari Beach lies on the coast of Cinisi, on the Gulf of Castellammare, where clear turquoise water meets a rugged shoreline. Beyond the main beach, the coast opens into a series of small rocky bays surrounded by comparatively untouched natural scenery.
Known as the Calette di Magaggiari, these hidden coves are generally accessible only from the sea, by boat, kayak or stand-up paddleboard. Reaching them requires a little more effort, but the reward is a quieter stretch of coast away from the nearby sandy public beaches.
The coves are well suited to swimming and snorkelling, with calm-looking, transparent water and rocky edges that give the shoreline its character. They are a good choice for those seeking a more secluded seaside experience along the Cinisi coast.
Magaggiari Beach is free to access and booking is not required. It is located on Via Impastato Peppino in Cinisi, in the metropolitan city of Palermo.
