On Catania’s seafront, Afrobar occupies the premises of one of the city’s many waterside lido spaces, with the sea providing the setting for a distinctly open-air night out. Its dance floor is laid directly on the sand, giving the venue an informal, elemental character.
By day, Afrobar belongs to the beach: swimmers, sun-seekers and families come and go amid the easy rhythm of the lido. As evening falls, however, the atmosphere shifts. The venue becomes a nightclub, bringing together music, dancing and a lively multicultural spirit.
