Fontane Bianche is a seaside hamlet of Syracuse on Sicily’s Ionian coast, 12 kilometres from the city. Its broad appeal lies in its straightforward setting by the sea and its convenient position for exploring south-eastern Sicily.
The beach makes an easy base for visiting Syracuse, whose historic significance is recognised by UNESCO, while the Baroque town of Noto is also within reach. Both provide a compelling complement to time spent on the coast.
