Lungomare di Cefalù, formally Lungomare Giuseppe Giardina and also known as Lungomare Cristoforo Colombo, is the town’s principal beach. Its roughly two-kilometre sweep of golden sand runs directly alongside Cefalù’s historic centre, making it an easy place to combine time by the sea with a walk through the town.

The promenade offers an appealing perspective on Cefalù’s coastal setting. Looking out across the water, the view takes in the colourful fishing village and the mountains that rise around it, while the beach provides a broad, unhurried foreground.

With its central position and open coastal outlook, the Lungomare is one of Cefalù’s defining public spaces: a simple place to pause, swim or stroll while remaining close to the character of the old town.
