Bastione Spasimo Boutique Hotel occupies the historic walls of the 16th-century Bastione dello Spasimo, in Palermo’s Kalsa district, one of the city’s oldest neighbourhoods. Its setting brings contemporary hospitality into a carefully restored historic context.
The hotel’s luxury rooms are divided between the bastion itself and an early-20th-century building. Several ground-floor rooms are carved into the stone within the bastion, while those on the first floor offer splendid views. Each is finely furnished and equipped for a comfortable stay.
An enchanting garden, framed by an English lawn, surrounds the heated saltwater swimming pool. The shared outdoor spaces provide a calm setting for unhurried time in the open air, with comfort and relaxation at their centre.
