Ristopescheria da Mare by Cotto da Mare – Magione brings the immediacy of a fishmonger’s counter to the table, pairing the freshness of the sea with local ingredients and seasonal produce. Its setting in Piazza Sant’Euno places it within Palermo’s lively Magione district.
Behind the kitchen are Alessio Marchese and Francesco Amato, two young chefs who have turned a deep, unfailing passion for cooking into their profession. Their approach is rooted in tradition, but open to new possibilities.
Classic dishes are reinterpreted alongside more unexpected combinations, allowing the quality and character of the ingredients to lead. The cooking has a contemporary sensibility without losing sight of familiar Sicilian flavours.
