Palazzo Alliata Villafranca is a former aristocratic residence in Palermo’s ancient Albergaria quarter, now converted into a museum. It stands just off Via Vittorio Emanuele, facing Piazza Bologni, two blocks west of the Quattro Canti.
The palace is particularly distinguished by its richly decorated state rooms, where historic furnishings provide an evocative setting for its art collection.
Held privately, the collection spans several centuries and includes notable masterpieces by artists such as Anthony van Dyck. Together, the rooms and artworks offer a considered glimpse into the cultural world of Palermo’s aristocracy.
