Alma Hotel is a 12-room boutique hotel in a central Palermo building, well placed for exploring the city on foot. Piazza Politeama, Teatro Massimo, the Quattro Canti, the Cathedral, the Martorana and Piazza Pretoria are all within easy reach, as are the Palatine Chapel and Palazzo dei Normanni.
The hotel also provides convenient access to Palermo’s popular markets, including Ballarò, the Capo and the Vucciria. Its location makes it possible to move between major sights, historic streets and lively local quarters without relying on transport.
Rooms range from 16 to 45 square metres and are designed with spacious, functional bathrooms. Each has a comfortable double bed with a latex and memory-foam mattress, four pillows, a desk, safe and minibar.
For a quiet pause, rooms are also equipped with a kettle and a selection of tea, herbal teas and Nescafé. Outside, the elegant shopping streets of Via Principe di Belmonte, Via Ruggero Settimo and Via Libertà offer an unhurried way to experience Palermo’s central “living room”, with their shop windows and city bustle.
